Academy Class Registration Process

For all NYS ITS employees only - To register for a training class, please email your request to [email protected]. They will notify you when you have been registered.

For all other NY Government Employees - To register for a training class, you must have your approving supervisor or purchasing department email your request to [email protected].

Cancellation Policy - Requests for cancellations must be submitted no later than 3 business days prior to the commencement of the course. Student substitutions can be made up to 1 business day before the course begins with no penalty. No-shows or failure to cancel within the aforementioned parameters will result in forfeiture of 100% of the cost of the course and/or full billing. Attendees who miss the class may opt to re-register for a future session, subject to a $100 rescheduling fee.

Before implementing news tools and technology, including those that use Generative Artificial Intelligence, NYS employees should consult applicable policies, including but not limited to the NYS Policy NYS-P24-001: Acceptable Use of Artificial Intelligence Technologies,  ITS Policy TS-P19-005: Acceptable Use of Open Source Software and NYS-P14-001: Acceptable Use of Information Technology (IT) Resources.
