Chris Lloyd is the Chief Portfolio Officer for the NYS Office of Information Technology Services (ITS) and oversees the ITS Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO). The EPMO was established in 1999 to serve ITS and other NYS agencies in the role of a Project Management (PM) Center of Excellence, providing expert PM services, Project Portfolio Management and the issuance and maintenance of PM standards and policies. The EPMO is dedicated to increasing and sustaining project success for ITS and their partner agencies, participating in PM best practices, committees and workgroups.

Chris' presentation will cover Project Management and the vision plan for ITS, the future in Project Management disciplines in NYS, and address common issues of interest, including management of agency project portfolios, controlling large-scale programs, and delivering lasting value to stakeholders and partners.

Chris Lloyd
Chris Lloyd is the Chief Portfolio Officer at the NYS Office of Information Technology Services (ITS) where his responsibilities include Project and Portfolio Governance, Application Portfolio Rationalization, Financial Management and Experience Design.

Mr. Lloyd has a wealth of experience across several industry sectors. Prior to joining ITS, Mr. Lloyd worked at NTT DATA Americas (formerly Keane, Inc.), as a Sr. Program Manager and Client Manager with P&L responsibilities for select commercial and public sector clients. He managed business development, recruiting, and delivery of Project Management and IT Services. Prior to his role at NTT DATA Americas, Mr. Lloyd worked for the American Institute of Physics as the Director of Information Technology, Business Systems. His duties included managing a team of professionals responsible for delivery of all non-publishing IT services including strategic planning, budgeting, application development, data center operations, infrastructure management, help desk and training. In addition, he was employed at Credit Suisse (formerly First Boston) as a Systems Analyst where he was the primary Asset/Account Manager responsible for restructuring in support of merger and acquisition activity.

Mr. Lloyd holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science. He graduated Cum Laude from the University at Albany, SUNY, and holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute.

Mr. Lloyd enjoys boating, golfing, skiing, DIY and working with children. He volunteers as an Adaptive Sports Ski Instructor at the Double H Ranch where he helps children with life-threatening illnesses experience winter sports activities. Mr. Lloyd makes children, the environment, health, and science and technology a priority with his free time.
