Call for Presenters

The NYS Forum is soliciting presentation submissions to be considered for the upcoming Albany and NYC Annual Meetings

Albany: October 17, 2017

Time: 1:00 - 4:00 PM
Location: Hearst Media Center, 645 Albany Shaker Road, Albany, NY

NYC: November 16, 2017

Time: 1:00 - 4:00 PM
Location: NYS Dept. of Taxation & Finance, 15 Metro Tech Center, Brooklyn, NY

Submission due date: September 22, 2017

Session Description - Targeted Audience:

Plans are underway for The NYS Forum Albany and NYC Annual Meetings. A Keynote Speaker is needed for each meeting - someone who could deliver a 15 - 20 minute visionary and inspiring message to the NYS Forum government and corporate community.

Suggested presentation topics may include:

  • The Speed of Technology - are you ready?
  • Technology and Workforce and Budgets - Oh my!
  • Today's Citizens - Can you give them what they want?
  • Tomorrow's Workforce - How the heck do we get there?
These are only examples and we encourage you to think of other ideas that may be relevant to our government and corporate audience.

All presentations must be vendor neutral.

Presentation Guidelines - Rules of Engagement

  • Presentation must be made using The NYS Forum's Power Point template.
  • Presenter corporate logo and contact information should appear on the first and last Power Point slides only. Corporate logo must not appear on each individual slide.
  • 15 - 20 minute visionary and inspiring message.


  • 9/12/2017 - Call for presenters distributed to vendor community.
  • 9/22/2017 - Deadline for proposals from vendors.
  • 9/29/2017- Selection/notification of presenters
  • PLEASE NOTE: All PowerPoint presentations MUST be made on The NYS Forum PowerPoint template which will be provided by the NYS Forum staff.
  • 10/06/2017 - Deadline for first draft of presenter Power Points and related documents.
  • 10/13/2017 - Deadline for final presentation Power Points and related documents.
